About Corlyn Farnon

Hi, my name is Corlyn Farnon. I graduated as a Shiatsu therapist in 2017 from the Iokai Shiatsu Professional Training in Amsterdam. 

In the past I have worked in the creative sector; floral art, designing interior objects and wood and marble imitation painting. My interest in Eastern philosophy, need for more depth and discovering a different language of the hands have led me in the direction of Shiatsu. 

I have had lessons from Sasaki Sensei et al. (Iokai.nl) I am also certified in Western Medical Basic Knowledge. I am a member of the professional association for shiatsu therapists, SVN (shiatsuvereniging.nl), am registered with the SCAG (scag.nl) for complaints and dispute handling and the RBCZ, the professional register for HBO certified complementary care providers (rbcz.nu) For quality research, the practice is visited every 5 years to see if all requirements are met.

All the RBCZ continuing education requirements in the field of professional content, intervision, first aid and basic medical knowledge are met by me every year. See below for an overview of my continuing education.
